Meet Karl:

What do you do at Phoenix Teen Challenge?

I am the intake coordinator. I also council students and assist with everyday problems that may arise. I am involved in helping with overall morale and looking for ways to make our center a better place to be.

Tell us about your family and where you grew up.

I was raised in South East Arizona. We raised cattle, pigs, chickens etc. and had crops as well. I am one of five boys and so we worked hard and played hard too. participated in all sports that we could. I have a great family.

How long have you been in ministry?

Approximately seven years. Today it’s my main occupation.

Where did you go to school?

Benson Arizona. I also completed an eight thousand hour apprenticeship at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 266 and I am a Journeyman Lineman. Served at a local Utility for 25 years.

What do you like to do on your free time?

Golf and hunt and spend time with my grandchildren. I also love the Arizona Wildcats!
